Revealed - EU Delegation In Cameroon Has New Leader

On 31 October 2017, Hans-Peter Schadek (pictured), of German nationality, officially presented the figured copies of his credentials to the Cameroonian Minister for External Relations, as the new Ambassador, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) in Cameroon, has it been officially learned.

After the presentation, in the coming days, of his credentials to the Head of State, this agronomist, holder of a doctorate in rural economy, will officially replace Françoise Collet at the head of the EU delegation in Cameroon .

An official of the European Commission since 1993, Hans-Peter Schadek first worked for 10 years for German cooperation in Burundi and Togo.

After several positions of responsibility for the EU in Mali and Niger, Hans-Peter Schadek arrives in a country he knows well, having been an advisor to the EU Delegation to Cameroon between 1998 and 2002.
