Breaking News Explosion Of A Bomb In Front Of A School In Bamenda

According to a local source, a new explosion broke out on Friday morning in Bamenda (the capital of the North-West region).

 The explosion took place near a school. According to information published by BBC radio, "the police discovered a bomb in front of a school in Bamenda and exploded it to prevent it from causing victims." The British media also says that "panic settled in the city after the discovery of the explosive device".

This new incident comes the day after the prohibition of the march announced by the SDF for Saturday, October 21, 2017, in the arteries of the city of Douala. According to Jean-Michel Nintcheu, the regional president of the SDF for the Littoral and initiator of this march, the demonstration aimed to express the solidarity of the SDF militants to the populations of the English-speaking regions, following the resurgence of the demands and after the violence which have been registered there.
