Louis van Gaal: What I think of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

LOUIS VAN GAAL believes Jurgen Klopp is a crowd pleaser with the style of football he has taken to Liverpool.

The German today marked 100 days in charge of the Reds during which time he has won 10 of his 21 games and led them into the Capital One Cup semi-finals.

The 48-year-old's high pressing game and passionate celebrations have made him an immediate hit with the Anfield faithful - a stark contrast to the discontent around Old Trafford at Van Gaal's style at United.

Van Gaal takes his stuttering side to Anfield on Sunday and there are reports that a defeat could persuade United's board to wield the axe.

The Dutchman has managed against Klopp four times before when in charge of Bayern Munich and he is not surprised by how Liverpool fans have taken to the former Borussia Dortmund boss.

"You can see his hand and that is very important when he is the manager," said Van Gaal.

"You can see a very aggressive and pressing kind of play in Liverpool's game.

"Of course, he has to learn also the Premier League, the rhythm of the Premier League, and I think he knows already the difference between the Premier League and German League.

"But he is very capable to be a manager in the Premier League because he has always played this kind of football and I think the fans shall love it."
