Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea Betting: Preview And Best Bets As Spurs Host Blues

Tottenham Hotspur welcome defending champions Chelsea to White Hart Lane on Sunday and the hosts can pile the misery onto their London rivals by winning in a game where both teams will score, which is 18/5 with Bet Victor.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side come into the match as the form team, with ten points and place separating the sides in the league table at present.

Spurs have not lost since the opening day of the season, a 1-0 loss at Manchester United, and have slowly been climbing up the table. After a slow start, England international striker Harry Kane has been on fire in recent games – he has scored nine goals in his last six matches. He is probably worth a bet to score anytime also, which is 7/4 with Bwin

The 22-year-old hit two goals in Spurs’ stunning 5-3 win over Chelsea on New Year’s Day so clearly relishes playing against his London rivals

In contrast, Chelsea have endured an awful start to the season and have lost seven times already in the league. Blues boss Jose Mourinho has been under severe pressure during this poor run but they have won their last two matches, so confidence in the camp will be lifted.

Spurs have struggled to keep clean sheets so far this season, only managing four in 13 matches and I feel Chelsea will get at least one goal.

However, the hosts will be too strong on the day and I am happy to back them to win and both teams to score with Bet Victor’s 18/5.

The second bet is over 2.5 goals which is 10/11 with Paddy Power and Bet Victor.

Going on previous history of this fixture, this bet has landed six times in seven matches so looks a safe one, if there is such a thing in betting.

Last season, the two matches produced 11 goals, so defences were hardly on top and with the attacking talents on both sides, goals are expected.

Eden Hazard has scored in his last three appearances against Spurs, while Kane hit two in the last encounter between the two teams.

Chelsea’s defence has shipped 23 goals in 13 matches so far this season, so Spurs’ forward players will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing them.

It promises to be a cracking London derby, so expect more than three goals to be scored.

Longshot – Spurs to win 4-1 66/1 Totesport
