Chelsea may be preparing to go all-out in a stunning transfer bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane next summer, according to reports.

The England international, 22, has been in superb form recently this season, scoring eight goals in his last seven games.

Although this would be a hugely ambitious move, Chelsea remain determined to raid their rivals for this brilliant goalscorer.

Another option for Chelsea could be a short-term deal for Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie, who may be available on loan this January.

Jose Mourinho would ideally like an experienced player to come in and solve his side’s issues in attack, and the Dutchman seems a strong candidate.

Having left Manchester United in the summer, Van Persie is already thought to be unsettled in Turkey after struggling for regular playing time.

Finally, Manchester United are keeping an eye on the contract situation of Chelsea’s exciting young midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The 19-year-old is considered a huge talent by many at Stamford Bridge, but is yet to break into the starting XI.

Other top clubs are showing an interest in Loftus-Cheek, whose contract with Chelsea is up in 18 months’ time.
