Chelsea eye swoop for Jamie Vardy and Mousa Dembele – report

Chelsea could strengthen their squad with a £40million raid on two of the Premier League’s top performers this season – Jamie Vardy and Mousa Dembele.

Vardy’s incredible goalscoring form for Leicester has been one of the stories of the season and Jose Mourinho now wants him as an alternative to the off-form Diego Costa.

Dembele, meanwhile, has been impressive for Tottenham and has been linked with Chelsea several times in the past.

Chelsea could move for free transfer of Emmanuel Adebayor – report

Chelsea could also make a surprise move for a former Tottenham player in Emmanuel Adebayor, who is a free agent after being released by the north Londoners.

The Togolese ace would be seen as a decent stop-gap signing for the Blues as they look to boost their goalscoring options.

Although never a world-class player, Adebayor has had a good career in the Premier League and could be a smart signing on a free.

Chelsea target Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic – report

Finally, Chelsea are also looking at another former Premier League player as they plan a move for Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic.

The 27-year-old has previously had a spell with Blackburn, but has found some of the form of his career in Serie A this season.

Fiorentina don’t want to sell, but Chelsea would do well to land this talented frontman who’d be eligible in the Champions League.
